What is Gök Nur System of Martial Arts?
Göknur System of Martial Arts (Göknur Savas Sanatlari) or simply called GökNur; is a martial arts system that traces the development and dispersion of armed and un-armed combat techniques through out Asia and Europe in relation to the travel routes and conquests of the ancient nomadic peoples of the land.  Curriculum of the system is presented  as survey study and technique cataloging method.   

Framework of GokNur System
The start of the historic time line in consideration for this study is established from the approximate date of formation of first nomadic armies (200 BC), continues through to the rise of Great Hun Empire and to the expansion of sixteen major khanates.  The study terminates in the modern era with dissolution of khanates and empires. 

A Wider view of the World of Martial Arts
Since the GökNur system is based on actual dispersion routes of martial arts knowledge; the study considers the forced migration of peoples to adjacent lands, due to rivalries and expansion efforts of Khans before establishment of current political borders of countries and country specific names for martial art styles.
